Mar 30, 2023 · Recently, on his 21st death anniversary, Rico Yan was visited by his family and Dominic Ochoa at his grave in Manila Memorial Park in Sucat, Parañaque. The sister of the late actor, Tina Yan, made a special mention in her post to thank Dom for coming to visit Rico on her brother’s death anniversary.
On March 29, 2002, Yan, while on a vacation during Holy Week, was found dead inside his hotel room by his friend, actor Dominic Ochoa at the Dos Palmas Resort in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. He died of cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis .

Dominic has many teleseryes dramas and also a funny sitcom on ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel, including his 1st sitcom with the late young matinee idol Rico Yan, actor and chef maker Marvin Agustin, comedian singer dancer Vhong Navarro (replaces the late Rico Yan) in Whattamen formerly aired in 2001 until 2002.
