  2. Chuo University (中央大学, Chūō Daigaku), commonly referred to as Chuo (中央) or Chu-Dai (中大), is a private research university in Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1885 as Igirisu Hōritsu Gakkō (English Law School), Chuo is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in the country.
