Strawberry Crest High School opened in August of 2009 with 1,350 students and 83 faculty members. The school sits on over 50 acres of property once used for strawberry farming. The school was named to pay homage to the rich strawberry farming heritage and the numerous strawberry growers that settled in the eastern part of Hillsborough County.

Strawberry Crest High School. International Baccalaureate . IB at the CREST. Students at Strawberry Crest IB enter as Pre-IB students in 9th and 10th grades and officially enter the IB Diploma Programme as 11th graders. The Diploma Programme is completed over the course of two years.
