We’re frequent visitors to the Hollywood and Orlando Universal Studios locations, and I would rank Osaka below Orlando and well above Hollywood. As is the case with everywhere in Japan, the Osaka universal studios is extremely clean. The rides are solid to great, with the highlights being Flying Dinosaur and the Hollywood Dream ride.

Universal Studios Japan, located in Osaka’s Bay area was opened on the 31st March 2001 and it was the first Universal Studios ever opened outside of the United States. In its first operating year, over 11 million of people visited the park and since then, around 8 million people visit it every year.
