The falls which gives Cedar Falls it's name, is not really much as waterfalls go, but it is a nice feature and with the parkland around it, gives the downtown area a spot of quiet and rest. It's not spectacular by any means but it's nice and the area where you can view it is pretty, and wheelchair accessible.

Cedar Falls, city, Black Hawk county, east-central Iowa, U.S., on the Cedar River, just west of Waterloo. Settled in 1845 by William Sturgis and laid out in 1852, it was first called Sturgis Falls until 1849 when it was renamed for the cedar trees along the river.
