Taguig City University (TCU; Filipino: Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Tagig) is a local public university in Central Bicutan, Taguig. It is funded by the City Government of Taguig. TCU was established in 2006 by the City Government of Taguig by virtue of Ordinance No. 29 Series of 2004.

Motivated by the urgent need to serve the youth of a burgeoning Taguig City, the Local Government Administration enacted Ordinance No. 29 series 2004, titled “An Ordinance Establishing the Pamantasan ng Taguig and Appropriating Funds Therefor.”
