Inspired by aircraft numbering and utilitarian type, our logo is a throwback to our military roots. Comprised of simple, impactful forms, it is our brand signature. The opposite of camouflage, it is instantly recognizable and legible at all sizes and in complex renderings.
In 1988, Activision renamed itself to Mediagenic to represent its activities beyond interactive software. Activision would be absorbed into a brand of Mediagenic focusing on video games. However, Mediagenic was bought out in 1991 and was reverted back to its original name.
