Telltale games have some well written stories, but most of your decisions in these games don't actually affect the story. What are games out there that are like telltale, but have you make choices that actually change the story? The only one I can think of is the Henry Stickmin series, but that's more of a meme series.

So I’d recommend you finish twd series if you haven’t already. If you have, play the two Batman telltale games. If you really want a game where choices effect the story, I’d recommend checking out RPG’s like the Witcher 3 or undertale.
