Kung Lao (Chinese: 空佬)[1] is a character in the Mortal Kombat series, and made his debut in Mortal Kombat II. A new version of Kung Lao returns in Mortal Kombat 1 as a playable character, serving as a supporting character in the game's Story Mode.
