Bloodlust has been a good heroic for a while now and the latest buff to it baseline and its upgrade pushed it way over the top. Meanwhile Ancestral has been on the nerf train for years, so it is not surprising it can't compete with Bloodlust anymore.
Bloodlust is also an extremely effective tool in quick match. Because communication is so limited in QM, bloodlust can be a great way for a more experienced player to say "we should be aggressive right now" and get a good immediate response from their team. On the flipside, bloodlust also makes the enemy team panic.

What makes Bloodlust a truly powerful Heroic Ability with strong Marskmen (such as Raynor) and other Heroes with strong Basic Attacks (for example Thrall) is the inherent life steal.

Dec 17, 2023 · Bloodlust is a good Heroic Ability which can be used to buff for 6 seconds all nearby allied Heroes and Rehgar himself with increased Attack Speed, bonus Movement Speed, and healing from part of the damage done via Basic Attacks.
