Thalassery (Malayalam: [t̪ɐlɐʃ(ː)eːɾi] ⓘ), formerly Tellicherry, is a municipality and commercial city on the Malabar Coast in Kannur district in the state of Kerala, India, bordered by the districts of Mahe, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kasaragod and Kodagu (Karnataka).
