  2. Dr. Percy L. Julian High School (formerly Robert E. Lee High School) is a public secondary school in Montgomery, Alabama, United States, serving grades 9–12. The school is part of the Montgomery Public Schools system.

  3. Percy L. Julian Biography. Dr. Percy L. Julian, scientist, was born in Montgomery, Alabama on April 11, 1899 and died in Waukegan, Illinois on April 19, 1975. The son of a mail clerk, Dr. Julian held many jobs to help pay his expenses at De Pauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

  4. Julian's founding principal, Dr. Edward H. Oliver, changed the school's name to honor the renowned scientist, Percy Lavon Julian, who died in April of 1975. Dr. Oliver and his administrative team created a philosophy and related objectives that reflected aspirations of high ideals.
