City of London School is one of London's leading academic day schools, with over 950 boys between the ages of 10 and 18. We occupy an iconic position in the vibrant heart of the City of London, in the shadow of the dome of St Paul's Cathedral and across the river from the Tate Modern.
The City of London School, also known as CLS and City, is a private day school for boys in the City of London, England, on the banks of the River Thames next to the Millennium Bridge, opposite Tate Modern. It is a partner school of the City of London School for Girls and the City of London Freemen's School.
We are an academically selective day school for in the heart of the Square Mile, and there are four main entry points to the School: 10+, or Year 6, we call this Old Grammar. 11+, or Year 7, our First Form. 13+, or Year 9, our Third Form. 16+, our Sixth Form.
Ready for the 21st Century. We are unashamedly academic and aim to nurture pupils who have a passion for intellectual exploration, allowing them to be engaged and excited about life after CLS. Over ninety percent of leavers go to their first or second choice Russell Group University.
