Aug 29, 2022 · The John Jacob Astor Hotel (1922-1924) is situated at the southeast corner of 14 th and Commercial Streets in downtown Astoria. L-shaped in plan, the eight-story reinforced concrete building presents its major frontage on 14 th Street, where it extends the full length of the block between Commercial and Duane Streets.
