It develops actors who are imaginative, skillful, expressive and vibrantly alive. It is rooted in the Chicago tradition, emphasizing physicality, truth in action, communication, collaboration and spontaneity.

  3. Step 1: Submit The Common Application or DePaul's Transfer Application. Begin by submitting an application and specifying your intended major as a Theatre School program. You cannot apply undecided to The Theatre School and cannot submit more than one application at a time to DePaul University.

  4. Undergraduate (BFA) Applicants. BFA Interviews. Interviews are required for all BFA programs other than BFA Acting. All interviews take place in December, January, and early February.
