The merger created an integrated delivery platform with superior capabilities to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets.
AECOM and URS announced a definitive agreement to merge in July 2014, creating a leading infrastructure and federal services provider with global reach and integrated capabilities. The transaction was valued at approximately US$6 billion and expected to be accretive to AECOM's earnings and cash flow.
