Larry Kehres (born September 7, 1949) is an American college football coach and college athletics administrator. He is the quarterbacks coach for the University of Mount Union, a position he has held since 2023. He was the head football coach at Mount Union for 27 seasons from 1986 to 2012.
Larry Kehres is a legendary college football coach who led Mount Union to 11 national titles and a 93 percent winning percentage. He also coached the U.S. National Football Team to a gold medal in 2011 and served as a professor and athletics director at Mount Union.
He also owns the most national titles (11), most conference titles (23) and most unbeaten regular seasons (21) of any college football coach in history. The winningest coach in Ohio Athletic Conference and Mount Union history, Kehres set an NCAA record for most consecutive victories after winning 55 from 2000-03.
Hall of Fame and legendary coach Larry Kehres '71 is the quarterbacks coach for the 2023 season. Kehres returned to his alma mater in 1974 as assistant football coach and started the swimming program as its first head coach.
