Roderick John Long Jr. (born January 27, 1950) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the defensive coordinator at Syracuse. Prior to being hired by Syracuse, Long was the defensive coordinator at New Mexico.

Rocky Long is a longtime coach and player at the University of New Mexico, where he serves as the defensive coordinator since 2020. He led the Lobos to a school record seven straight bowl games and a 65-game winning streak as the head coach from 1998 to 2008.
