News. July 5, 2024: Ys X: Nordics is scheduled to release outside of Asia in English and French on October 25, 2024 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. A PC port by PH3 has also been announced and is set to release on Steam, GOG.com and the Epic Games Store.

In terms of the number of game releases, Ys is second only to Final Fantasy as the largest eastern role-playing game franchise. Ys is particularly popular in Japan and Korea.
