Donald Holden demonstrating his painting techniques The Longitude Gallery, Clitheroe opened on Friday 9th November, 2013 and it was a privilege to represent Donald almost from day one. We first met him via a recommendation to view his work at a New Longton exhibition and we instantly loved his work.
Donald Holden’s internationally acclaimed watercolor paintings may be found in the British Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London; the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
A frequent contributor to art magazines and journals, Holden is the author of more than 20 books, including Whistler Landscapes and Seascapes (1969), selected for the White House library of notable books on American art.
