Eddie Del Mar was born on 13 October 1919 in Candaba, Pampanga, Philippines. He was an actor and producer, known for Noli me tángere (1961), Ang buhay at pag-ibig ni Dr. Jose Rizal (1956) and Andres Bonifacio (Ang supremo) (1964). He died on 8 November 1986.
May 2, 2010 · The film was made to commemorate the birth centenary of Rizal in 1961. “Noli” was megged by the brilliant Gerardo de Leon, and in this Rizal masterpiece, Eddie del Mar copped the role of Crisostomo Ibarra, with Miss Philippines Edita Vital as Maria Clara and Leopoldo Salcedo as Elias.
