Jan 15, 2020 · Jonathan Yi and Michael Haertlein followed the group, focusing on the relationship of Peelander Yellow, the leader of the band, and Peelander Red, the bassist, who have been best friends for 15 years. When Red decides to quit, their relationship, the band, and each one individually is tested.

  3. June 7, 2018. Good band documentaries often aren't about the music or backstage antics, they focus on the struggles of the band and their usually very normal lives. “ Mad Tiger ” is a film about a Japanese punk band called Peelander-Z who live and play in NYC, which does just that.
