May 20, 2021 · Ringside Studios, the drama indie founded by producer Gub Neal (The Fall, Queer as Folk) and French media company and distributor Newen, and Andy Starke from Anti-Worlds Film & Television have optioned the TV rights to JG Ballard’s thriller Super-Cannes.
Gub is an award-winning producer, formerly Head of Drama at Channel 4 and before that Controller of Drama at Granada. There he co-created Cracker and won an Emmy for Prime Suspect.
