Simon Halfon is an award-winning graphic designer most noted for designing album covers for Paul Weller, George Michael and Oasis.
Produced by Simon alongside Academy Award winning film maker John Battsek and directed by multi award winning director Chris Smith. The film charts George and Andrew's meteoric 4 year journey from leaving school to playing their final gig at Wembley Stadium in 1986.
As lead producer, Simon Halfon brought together the team to create the feature ‘Supersonic’, an award winning documentary which charters the meteoric rise of rock band Oasis.
The film was co-produced by Ventureland / Passion Pictures, Nemperor Production, and Library Films with Altitude Film and Netflix serving as distributors. Wham! had its world premiere at the Sheffield DocFest on 17–18 June 2023 and given a limited theatrical release in the United Kingdom on 27 June.
