Wang Xiaoshuai (Chinese: 王小帅; Chinese: 王小帥; pinyin: Wáng Xiǎoshuài; born May 22, 1966) is a Chinese film director, screenwriter, and occasional actor. He is commonly grouped under the loose association of filmmakers known as the "Sixth Generation" of the Cinema of China.
Xiaoshuai Wang is a prominent member of the Sixth Generation of Chinese filmmakers, known for his social realist and historical films. He has won several international awards and competed in major festivals with his works, such as Beijing Bicycle, Shanghai Dreams, and So Long, My Son.
