Balance and Composure is an American alternative rock band from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. They formed in the winter of 2007, after the breakup of two local Doylestown bands. The band's musical style has been compared those of Nirvana and fellow Pennsylvanians Title Fight.

Although 2013 has nearly surpassed 2012 with quality releases, the Braid/Balance and Composure Split should not be lost amid the wash of quality releases. The album itself starts off with the two Braid tracks, Lux and Many Enemies .
This is the second split from the band Balance and Composure(the first one was with Tigers Jaw). They do a really good job of getting great bands to split with, meanwhile B&C's own side is generally pretty dull and predictable. Braid still fuckin' rocks after all the years though.
