Many of you started modifying Vivaldi's files, either in order to work around bugs, or to enhance Vivaldi with new features. It was a widely appreciated mod, but it hasn't been updated since 2021. This is modified version of that original mod, to bring it up to date with the current Vivaldi version

Nov 3, 2023 · Vivaldi suddenly crashed and wouldn't start, so I reinstalled it. It wouldn't start then either, so I made a backup of C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Default folder and emptied the folder. Then Vivaldi was able to start from scratch. Then I closed Vivaldi and used the backup to populate the folder again.

Jan 1, 2022 · Hi peoples, vivaldi is good and fast enough for me compared to edge, firefox and internet explorer. I had modified win10 which edge has been removed. There is also a modified win11 from the above link. Hello, The Vivaldi browser is very slow compared to Edge or Firefox. On Windows 11, last version of Vivaldi.
