Nov 23, 2016 · In Vegas Pro 11 to 13, the GPU rendering options were diplayed by default. Since VEGAS Pro 14 build 201, GPU rendering must be enabled here: "Options" menu > "Preferences" > "General" > "Allow legacy GPU rendering". The term "legacy" is used because the code was optimized for the GPUs that were available when it was written, a number of years ago.

This option can be used only once a month. From the VEGAS Pro Help menu choose Deactivate the Software on this PC. This option can be used as often as you wish.

I was trying out a few different settings in Vegas yesterday to try reduce the render speed. Jun 4, 2017 · Select "Advanced options". Make sure that in the renderdialog filters are off. Select Sony AVC/MVC format. Select template "Internet 1920x1080-30p". Select "Customize template". Change framerate from 29,970 to 25. Save a copy of this rendertemplate and render your project with these settings.
