I discovered that there seems to be no equivalent to the Sony Connect App for Windows 10. The headphones seem to not being used to their fullest potential.

Oct 1, 2020 · When you set it through the app it saves those setting on headphones itself, so eq settings persist when you connect to Windows as well. But as u/unaltra_persona mentioned, connect app is only available on Android/iOS. You can still use the app to fiddle with the headphones when the headphones are connected to pc.
The headphones whilst properly turned off will sound noticeably worse. To describe it in simple terms, it feels, "muddy" and very bass heavy (can't be changed with EQ settings from my experience).

Nov 16, 2023 · I usually use my laptop with the headphones, and I want it to count the hours I'm using, but it only does on the phone app. Edit: I mean headphones connect (the app) not if I can connect them to my laptop. As long as your PC has bluetooth.

It's for a specific group of people that mainly uses buds on PC but require low latency (gaming or wired like performance), not your everyday's bluetooth ear buds.
