A black window (maybe 600x400 pixels) will appear with Slay the Spire as the window header, it will stop responding, in task manager the game will ramp up to 20-30% cpu usage, acquire a greef leaf icon, then drop to 0% cpu usage and sit there. It does not matter whether I launch the app through the Xbox application or the start menu.
Oct 19, 2020 · SLAY THE SPIRE won't launch through XGP PC or Start Menu. The game was installed from XGP PC. Nothing happens when i click on the icon whether in XBOX APP or Start Menu. I also check the Task Manager and nothing related is running. I also tried "run as Administrator" and still nothing happened.

Jul 14, 2019 · Cannot launch Slay the Spire or reinstall it. I have been playing Slay the Spire without any issues through XGP on PC for the last couple weeks. Since yesterday, I have been unable to launch the game whether through the start menu or the Xbox (beta) app. I decided to uninstall and reinstall to see if it would fix the issue.
