Dec 14, 2020 · Anyone running the Java edition on a non-standard platform (like Raspberry Pi) has to use the Java launcher, whose latest version (1.6.93) still only supports Mojang accounts. Jan 29, 2023 · You can't make/use a Mojang account anymore. You can only make a Microsoft account now, meaning you don't need to migrate. Also, you can't purchase the game without also having a premium account, those 2 things are tied together. If you somehow got Java edition but don't have an official premium account, it means the copy was pirated.

It is counterintuitive because you are not actually setting up a new account. But once you click to add a new account you can choose to sign in with your Microsoft account in the Launcher. Once you do that, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to log you in from the Launcher. And my worlds were there without change.

I got minecraft a long time ago and do not have a mojang account. It won't let me create one. (My username is KDHandshake) and I put in the password that I use to log into minecraft. I want to change my skin, but can't because I cannot log into mojang/create an account. I'm just really confused.
Jul 1, 2022 · Would not advice logging ur real account on tlauncher. Under your Nick cluck accounts and click arrow next to your Nick. Click manage accounts. Click add account and choose authentication server. Login. Chrome your account and enjoy the game! Just select account, and login. Buy Minecraft, easy.
