Apr 4, 2022 · The original launcher is basically nostalgia to people that played it back in the day. That original legacy launcher no longer works. Mojang has shutted it down on March 10th, 2022. Along with it wouldn't work in general migrating ur mojang account to Microsoft. The new launcher is basically dumb to me, I prefer old school but it no longer works.
Jan 14, 2024 · But Malwarebytes usually finds most viruses, either way I'd recommend you download sklauncher or Leagacy launcher. P.S take my opinion with a grain of salt as I don't download from 1337x. This response is based off Malwarebytes being trustworthy, past Reddit posts and 1337x being somewhat safe.
Tl legacy was the original cracked launcher but tlauncher stole it and now it got popular. My main reason to delete it was, it was not showing my skin in newer version , 2nd it had a spyware. After I installed the Tl legacy tha background wasn't filled with any advertisement just sky. I liked it very much 👍🏽 what's your opinion though.

Jan 19, 2024 · The legacy version is non-UWP, won't launch Bedrock (Minecraft for Windows), and is intended for providing compatibility on older Windows 7/8 systems. Depending on what that some reason is, installing a different launcher might not make any difference. It's possible you'll still have an issue to troubleshoot and resolve.

The original one, that (I think) later was called TL Legacy, and later Legacy Launcher (due to legal problems with the ones who got it from them and are currently using it to spread spyware, because they wante to be the only ones with the name TLauncher/TL) isn't supposed to be.
