Kara Patria Constantino David-Cancio (Tagalog: [ˈkaɾa daˈbid ˈkanʃo]; born September 12, 1973 [ 1 ]) is a Filipino journalist, host, professor, and educational administrator. She is known because of investigative and multi-awarded documentaries in i-Witness.
Kara David is undoubtedly one of the well-established names in broadcast journalism. In the span of her career, she has produced countless top-rating and award-winning documentaries. Her success didn’t happen overnight. Her climb to the top was slow and steady.
Kara was the only woman who made it to the list of 2007’s Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) award. She has more than a hundred documentaries to her name. Some of her documentaries have been released on DVD — I-Witness Vol. 1, 2, 3, 4 and the Best of Kara David DVD. But Kara is indeed more than a teller of tales.
