Mar 18, 2016 · Better support for FortiNet Firewalls I would love to see better integration of FortiNet FW products into all the SolarWinds Applications. NPM being able to auto-discover the firewall CPU and Memory is basic, being able to also get Interface Stats would be very helpful!
I'm running NPM 10.6.1 with NCM 7.2.2. I am running into trouble when trying to backup Fortinet/Fortigate device configurations with a job inside of NCM. A job with 45 Fortinet/Fortigate devices can take upwards of 5 or 6 hours to complete just trying to get the startup config off of the device.

Mar 21, 2022 · I am starting to monitor fortigate firewall, from FortiNet, on NPM 2020.2.5 Running newer version 6.4.8. Unlike Cisco NPM has not out of the box support for healtmonitoring, like PSU, FAN's Optics etc. Is this on the roadmap for NPM ? What do you do about monitoring environment status / hw health on your fortigates ?

Oct 31, 2023 · martms 10 months ago. We just upgraded our FortiGate devices to newest versions 7.0.13 or 7.2.6. and we can not download configs, before it worked fine. Now we can see that FortiGate gives a log message: "Negotiation failed: no matching host key type found. Their offer: rsa-sha2-512,rsa-sha2-256,ssh-rsa,ssh-dss."
Jun 13, 2023 · I see high memory utilization on fortinet Firewall due to incorrect OID is consider . I got the exact ID which shows correct utilization but not able to convert it in % . Can anyone help me . 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.103.2.1.2 I am polling this value but not able to convert in % through UNDP. Looking for solution.
Go back into the File menu and check that there is a tick, if not you will need to click it again and check again. If the menu item is ticked then the debug should be generated when you run the activity. It will be in the debug folder in the main CatTools folder.

I faound a solution for this problem. you just need to go to all settings and then go to view by device and change fortigate view from wireless to default view and it solves the problem. 0 CourtesyIT over 4 years ago. You may need to configure a couple UnDP for this node until further MIB support is available.
