Juneyao Air (Chinese: 吉祥航空; pinyin: Jíxiáng Hángkōng; lit. 'Auspicious Airlines'; formerly known as Juneyao Airlines) is an airline headquartered in Changning, Shanghai, China. The airline operates both domestic and international services from two Shanghai airports (Hongqiao and Pudong). [4]
Shanghai-based Juneyao Airlines (HO) operates from hubs at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). In addition to flying to 35 destinations within China and Hong Kong, the airline also has scheduled passenger service to Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and Thailand.

Aug 22, 2024 · China’s Juneyao Air will begin direct flights from Shanghai to Sydney and Melbourne this year, adding competition to a route solely flown by China Eastern while also filling a gap left by Qantas’ closing its own Sydney-Shanghai route. The flights mark Juneyao Air’s debut in Australian skies.
