SF did recognise this error, are a good bit clearer as to where they stand now, but the damage was done for going along with a very unpopular government policy.

The rising tide is with FG this time even with mostly new candidates, last election tide was with SF and they got people elected that were never heard of before , even got some elected that went on holidays during campaign and still were elected with out trying. Rising tide lifts allround it.
