Oct 11, 2022 · Well, the official "123Movies" was shutdown back in 2018, so anything you're finding today is just a "clone" site at best or a spam-suppository of viruses more likely. tl;dr - they're free because the stream isn't the product. You (the user) are the product, and you're being sold to third-party advertisers and data-thieves.

Sep 2, 2022 · Ive been using 123movies for the better part of about 6 years. I always knew that the links and popups that cone with using the site are scams, but i never once clicked on any of them. My friend and I were having a discussion about 123movies last night and he mentioned how it was an "illegal site".
