Nov 2, 2016 · The Air Force General Hospital, formerly known as Nichols Air Base Hospital, was removed from 520th ABW and subsequently reorganized provisionally under PAFMSG on February 1, 1974 while the 1301st DD was placed under the command and control of the CG, PAF on September 16, 1987.
PGH is considered the biggest modern government tertiary hospital in the Philippines, servicing more than 600,000 patients annually. It remains the only national referral center for tertiary care, providing direct and quality patient services to thousands of indigent Filipinos all over the country.
