The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences foundational undergraduate medical program is the 4-year MDCM (Medicinæ Doctorem et Chirurgiæ Magistrum) program, fully accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and by the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC).
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences offers a four-year undergraduate medical program leading to the conferral of an MDCM (Medicinæ Doctorem et Chirurgiæ Magistrum) degree.
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is one of the constituent faculties of McGill University. It was established in 1829 after the Montreal Medical Institution was incorporated into McGill College as the college's first faculty; it was the first medical faculty to be established in Canada.
