Saw this on TV. I haven't seen the original 1984 film so my opinion is solely based on this iteration of the narrative. I didn't like it. It feels like a cheaper, more boring 90s bomba attempt to cash in on the image and popularity of its lead star Sunshine Cruz. She's good in this, but the script is not much.
