The Caraga State University is strategically located along the Phil-Japan Friendship Highway which traverses Butuan City, Surigao City, Bayugan City, Cabadbaran City and the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur, northeast of Mindanao, south of the Philippines (indicated by the letter A in the map below).
