Jan 14, 2015 · In other words, instead of being an archive, libraries are becoming a learning commons. The design and implementation of the new library at Chicago's Francis W. Parker School epitomizes this concept as they transformed their traditional space with its cubicles and stacks (which essentially thwarted collaboration) into one that fostered learning and communication.
Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF students receive a $40 credit at the beginning of each academic year, which you can use for printing at the Libraries. Use Papercut (Syracuse University’s Print Management Software ) to check your balance and add funds.
The Engineering Library Learning Commons is located in 1B08 Engineering Building . It is a hub for working and collaboration with bookable study rooms, computers (require NSID login) and printing available. The print engineering collection (books, print journals, handbooks, and standards) is located in the Science Library.
