Brinke Stevens was born in San Diego, California, as Charlene Elizabeth Brinkman. She got married to Dave Stevens and 1980, and the two divorced in 1981.

She appeared as Charlene Brinkman (her real name at the time) and wowed the fans, but she tells the story so nicely herself below.
