3 days ago · The smooth and fluted have different reference numbers. The bezels are different materials. They might be interchangeable but you'll end up with a watch that doesn't match the case ref. no. Just sell what you don't want and buy a new watch! Probably will cost the same in the end but you'll end up with a real watch.
5 days ago · Join Date: Nov 2012. Location: n/a. Posts: 395. The current price for a DD dial swap is $750. They require the watch to be serviced (~$900 for DD service) if they do a dial change. Therefore, I'd change it during it's next due service. They also have to replace the hands when they change the dial.

2 days ago · Danely, the number on my box is on the trailing edge of the bottom of the box. It also says " Montres Rolex S.A. - Geneve Suisse " with the Rolex crown at either end of that line of print and the serial number of the box below that line.
