Science Students Lauded at Research Symposium. Scientific knowledge was on the menu in the Massapequa High School cafeteria on May 22, as board of education trustees, administrators, teachers, students and parents gathered for the annual Science Research Symposium.

Massapequa High School valedictorian Victoria Chu and salutatorian Ava Mininni were recognized last week at the annual Celebrating Excellence breakfast at the Crest Hollow Country Club. The event was hosted by the Nassau County Council of School Superintendents to celebrate the top-ranked graduates from each high school.
Youngsters were invited to discover the world at the Massapequa School District’s 19th annual World Language Festival on March 14. The event was held at Massapequa High School and featured activities celebrating the five languages taught in the district – American Sign Language, French, German, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
