Decent, yet unfocused Western film with an interesting story and effective performances, The Desperate Trail is a film that is entertaining and very much has its moments, but clearly could have been a better film if the script would have been reworked. Despite the limitations, I liked it and it was an enjoyable and entertaining time waster.
