  2. The YEA! (Youth Experiencing Art) Program at Ringling College of Art and Design provides art and arts integration experiences to PreK-12th grade teachers and students. YEA! pairs Ringling College students with classroom teachers and art teachers. These pairs co-develop, co-teach, and co-assess the projects connected to the students’ curriculum.

  3. In addition to the amount of federal aid the Ringling College of Art and Design must return, students who received financial aid for other educational costs, including off-campus living expenses, may be required to repay a portion of those funds to the federal programs.

  4. Ringling College of Art and Design’s Fine Arts BFA degree is an intimate program with limited enrollment, providing individual attention that fosters a tight-knit community of artists. Critical thinking, painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and technology make up the backbone of the Fine Arts curriculum.

  5. Classes take place on Ringling College of Art and Design’s main campus in Sarasota, Florida. Enrollment is open to students ages 13-18, and high school ’24 graduates. Sessions are 4 days each, Monday-Thursday, 9 am-3 pm. Supplies and lunch will be provided.

Through a curriculum that emphasizes the fundamentals of drawing, painting, design, visual concepts and professionalism, the Department of Illustration’s aim is to offer an education that will be applicable to a variety of disciplines in the visual arts, as well as new and emerging communication fields.
