There are three ways to attend Metro State as a transfer student: Automatic Admission —A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 with 16 transferable college-level semester credits attempted will result in automatic admission to the university. A higher GPA may be required for admission into some programs.
The Minnesota State University Student Association (MSUSA) fee, assessed to all students, is determined by the MSUSA Minnesota State College and University System Board of Trustees. Funds are used by the MSUSA statewide, for activities representing students. There is a MSUSA fee per credit hour. Healthcare/health services fee: $1 per credit.
