Aaron C. Fearne (born May 30, 1974) [1] is an Australian basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach for the Charlotte 49ers men's team of the American Athletic Conference. He served as the head coach of the Cairns Taipans of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) from 2009 to 2018.
On February 12, 2024, Aaron Fearne was officially appointed as the 14th Head Coach of Charlotte Men's Basketball. The 2024-25 campaign will be his second season at the helm of the 49ers. After being named Interim Head Coach on June 15, 2023, Fearne was elevated to permanent head coach by Charlotte 49ers Director of Athletics Mike Hill.
