Luis Pérez Dasmariñas y Páez de Sotomayor was a Spanish soldier and governor of the Philippines from December 3, 1593 to July 14, 1596. In 1596, he sent unsuccessful expeditions to conquer Cambodia and Mindanao. Pérez Dasmariñas was a knight of the Order of Alcántara.
Gómez Pérez Dasmariñas (1 January 1519 – 25 October 1593) was a Spanish politician, diplomat, military officer and imperial official. He was the seventh governor-general of the Philippines from May or June 1, 1590 to October 25, 1593. Dasmariñas was a member of the Order of Santiago.
On December 3, 1593, Luis Perez Dasmariñas became governor-general ad interim by virtue of the appointment of his father Gomez Perez Dasmariñas. He was knight of Order of Alcantara.

Killed in an attempt to capture the fort at Ternate in the Moluccas in 1593, Gómez Pérez Dasmariñas was succeeded by his son Luis. After being replaced himself as governor in 1596, Luis remained in the Philippines until his death in the Chinese rebellion of 1603 in Manila.
